Abstract
Our research at DISOPT focuses on the design and analysis of algorithms for discrete optimization problems. Discrete optimization problems are ubiquitous and often a serious hurdle to take on the way to an efficient tool. We contribute with theoretical results as well as with the application of our research to real-word problems. I will present some of our results in this area and describe some current challenges that drive us.
